These are our terms and conditions you must agree to when hiring our services.
“Wedding Videographer†is Director/ employee of Wedding Videographer
“Coupleâ€Â is Bride and Groom who have undertaken the agreement by hiring us.
1/By hiring “Wedding Videographer” you are agreeing to these terms. Your payment is an order for Wedding Videography with “Wedding Videographerâ€. It is understood that all images and video are the property of “Wedding Videographer†and may be used for display, promotion, advertising or any purpose thought proper by “Wedding Videographerâ€.
Copyright will be held jointly between “Wedding Videographer†& the “coupleâ€, images and video may only be reproduced by the “couple†for personal usage.
2/A non-refundable retainer of one third purchase price is required within 7 working days of work being agreed upon, with a further one third of the outstanding balance due one weeks prior to the event with the remaining one third balance due on completion of said work.
3/All care and diligence will be exercised in the performance of the above assignment and that in the event of mechanical failure, theft, accident or any other mishap beyond our control preventing fulfillment of the agreement, liability will be limited to refund of monies paid.
4/This order is binding upon the parties, their successors and assigns and may only be altered in writing by all parties.
 5/Specific shots cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of weddings, although all care is given to achieve the requested shots.
6/Raw footage is an optional extra and is only available upon completion of the final edit. Footage will be supplied in QuickTime .MOV format and .MTS format and will require an adequate computer system to play correctly. Raw footage is just that, it is rough and un-edited footage and could be shaky, blurry or varying in exposure. Raw footage will be deleted from our system after delivery of final product and will no longer be our responsibility.
7/ It is understood that clients who choose to supply there own music to be used in their film have purchased the music and have obtained appropriate rights for it’s use.
8/ Compatibility issue that may occur between recordable media and various brands of player is not the responsibility of Wedding Videographer, our media will play without issues in 98% of players.
9/ We endeavor to produce our very best quality work while delivering in a timely manner and working to your budget. With this in mind, we require certain creative freedom over the final edits. Couples can supply there own music to be used in the edit prior to the editing, otherwise we will choose music we find suitable. It is understood that clients that supply they own music have obtained the rights from the respective artist or distributer.
10/ When we stay past 8:30pm we ask that a meal be provided for each videographer in attendance. Most venues include service staff meals within your agreement.
11/ Clients who have not finalized their accounts with us and/or collected their video from us within 12 months after their wedding date need to be aware that after this time Wedding Videographer will no longer be responsible for the safe keeping of their wedding video. If footage is lost after this time for what ever reason, no refunds will be available and Wedding Videographer will retain all monies paid.
